Entered a romantic relationship that later became the mechanism through which I was groomed and trafficked, reflecting the Romeo-style trafficking model.
Began mentoring incarcerated women impacted by exploitation within the local jail system.
2018
Exited the criminal legal system and navigated probation while rebuilding my life.
Began delivering human trafficking training to law enforcement agencies nationwide.
Shared my story publicly for the first time and launched my LLC for consulting and public speaking.
Co-created an 18-month residential program for individuals exiting human trafficking.
Committed to trauma-informed healing while volunteering at a local shelter and mentoring individuals impacted by human trafficking, gaining firsthand insight into effective law enforcement collaboration.

Founded the Human Trafficking Education and Response Academy, delivering advanced, survivor-informed training and consultation for law enforcement, nonprofits, and institutions nationwide.

Became the first individual in Collier County to have all criminal charges expunged under human trafficking statute, gaining critical insight into post-conviction relief and survivor justice pathways.
